Stephen Elderhorst is a Canadian citizen with more than 18 years business experience at senior management levels across various fields and more than 12 years of experience in developing both commercial and governmental institutional ties with Asia. Currently residing for more than 5 years in Beijing, China, he is involved in commercial and governmental partnerships with groups based in several regions including North & South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle-East and has been developing access to a strong network of Chinese contacts and business relations since 1994. He is highly adaptable to new environments especially involving multi-cultural relations aspects.

In 1994 he was the recipient of the Rotary Paul Harris Fellowship Award; this award was given him by the Rotary Club of Beijing in recognition of his outstanding service to the Chinese community and the Beijing Rotary Club.
Since moving to China, he has formed a strategic group of key international personnel which are actively engaged in:
- Realizing projects in various sectors including Commodities Trading, Mining, Power, Steel, the Oil Industry, as well as Bridge, Harbour & Road Construction.
- Sourcing of high quality Chinese manufactured products for export including steel and construction materials, safety equipment, consumer electronics, automotive parts and clothing
- Assisting foreign companies seeking license approvals for product sales & distribution in China (especially in the medical sector)
- Raising funds for capital intensive projects in various sectors including Technology, Mining, and Commercial Real Estate
- Providing strategic PR / media consulting, highly specialized marketing services and event management for large international brands seeking to expand their market presence in China
- Previously worked with foreign enterprises dealing with Anti-dumping cases for large US based corporations
